OVERVIEW OF POWER SYSTEM CONTROL:
- Speed regulation of the governor
- Controls the boiler pressure, temperature & flows
- Speed regulation concerned with steam input to turbine
- Load is inversely proportional to speed
- Governor senses the speed & gives command signal
- Steam input changed relative to the load requirement.
