Anna University , Chennai cancelled the admission for Online Courses of M.Sc Computer Science and Open Source Software after warning received from the University Grants Commission (UGC) for announcing the Online Courses without approval.
Admission for Distance Education for M.B.A , M.Sc, M.C.A was currently enrolled by the students. Along with the these courses , Online courses for M.Sc Computer Science and Open Source Software was announced by Anna University earlier but U.G.C announced "Online Courses for any Subjects was not given approval in India". Subsequently, Anna University Online Courses of M.Sc Computer Science and Open Source Software student enrollment, has been abruptly canceled.
