OVERVIEW OF POWER SYSTEM CONTROL:

• Speed regulation of the governor
• Controls the boiler pressure, temperature & flows
• Speed regulation concerned with steam input to turbine
• Load is inversely proportional to speed
• Governor senses the speed & gives command signal
• Steam input changed relative to the load requirement.
