  DESCRIPTION
  Renaissance is the annual science and technology festival of KJSIEIT, one of the most prestigious educational institutes in India. Renaissance has provided a common thinking ground to students for new ideas, creativity and innovation. Through its 13 golden years, Renaissance has earned the tag of providing a platform for students to showcase their talent in the field of technology.
  Renaissance is not only a technical festival but a unique amalgamation of competitions, exhilarating exhibitions, lectures from eminent personalities, workshops to provide hands-on valuable experience to students and our social initiatives aimed to reform the present day India. Renaissance also invites technological solutions in the fields of energy efficiency, environment technology, rural up-liftment and healthcare solutions through KARTAVYA - A Renaissance initiative.
  
  
  1>> PROJECT SHOWCASE
  
  ELIGIBILITY:
  
  1. The participating students are expected to be from the following category:
  Students of Undergraduate and Post graduate Engineering or Diploma
  Programmes pursuing any branch from Engineering College.
  2. Each participating team may send one exhibit project done during the current academic year.
  3. A team project may have a maximum of 5 participating bonafide students from the same
  Institute.
  4. An institution can send many projects for the competition but one student cannot send many
  entries.
  5. The registration fees for each project is Rs: 2000/-.
  
  DESIRABLE TENETS OF PROJECT COMPETITION
  
  1.Only the working model or a simulated model using any technical software as Exhibit (construed preferably with eco-friendly materials) is expected.
  2. The project mainly based on research of literature or disseminating only information
  will not be encouraged.
  3. The project entry selected for final round would not be given any financial grant for
  project.
  4. The project should be creative/ innovative and based on scientific principles.
  5. The project should support the TAGLINE of RENAISSANCE 2013 i.e. “NAYI SOCH”
  
  2>> CSI BATTLEFIELD
  The teams will be judged in the fields of PUBLICITY, MARKETING, MANAGEMENT, CREATIVES, and TECHNICAL AND RESOURCES.
  
  
  1: PROJECT SHOWCASE - PRIZES WORTH : Rs.35000*/-
  2: CSI BATTLEFIELD - PRIZES WORTH : Rs 20000/-
  3.TECH-E-MAZING RACE - PRIZES WORTH : Rs.8000/-
