If A:B = 3:4 and B:C = 8:9, then A:C = ????

(Try to answer with solution)

And Ans : 2:3

Sol :
A : B = 3 : 4     ---> ( Equ : 1)
B : c = 8 : 9     ---> ( Equ : 2)

Since B is Common to both,

Multiplying  8 to Equ (1) and Multiplying 4 to Equ (2)
A : B = 24 : 32
B : C = 32 : 36

Now, 
A : B : C = 24 : 32 : 36

So A : C = 24 : 36
On Simplifying A : C = 2 : 3
