Here is a scary dogwood puzzle.

There was a man who owned dogwood trees, was deathly afraid of these trees, and every night he would go to bed shrieking and mewling. One day a neighbor chopped down these trees, hauling away the larger pieces and leaving behind only wood chips and bark. "Are you satisfied?" asked the neighbor and the man shook his head feverishly. "It’s worse now, positively worse now!" But where had the neighbor gone wrong?
