Scope of Seminar
Among the wastewaters produced such as domestic wastewater and Industrial Wastewater, the Industrial wastewater is well-known for its toxicity apart from the organic and other nutrients present. Due to rapid Industrialisation, the wastewater production in different sectors have increased appreciably over the period. There are different technologies being used in Industry for the treatment of wastewater. However, the availability of affordable technologies which
satisfy the requirement of each Industry is still an enigma. Emerging trends give importance to appropriate technology with zero discharge concept for reuse of Wastewater within industry to reduce the treatment cost and thereby reduce the pollution load on the environment.
