Tamilnadu Engineering Admissions also shortly known as TNEA 2015 is conducted for candidates who have eligibility criteria for U.G Degree in BE, BTech programme.
So , What is the Eligibility Criteria for TNEA 2015 ?
TNEA 2015 Eligibility U.G Degree
Well, candidates should have completed Higher Secondary or Plus 2 or HSC with minimum percentage marks as per the below table
1. HSC ( Academic ) / Plus 2 / 12th / Equivalent
The candidates who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
- OC candidates should have secured not less than 50% marks in aggregate.
- BC/ BCM / MBC & DNC / SC/ SCA / ST candidates should have secured not less than 45% marks in aggregate.
2. Diploma
The candidate who have passed 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognised by Central / State Governments.
- OC candidates should have secured not less than 50% marks in aggregate in all the semestersput together.
- BC/ BCM / MBC & DNC / SC/ SCA / ST candidates should have secured not less than 45% marks in aggregate in all the semesters put together.
3 .International Baccalaureate Diploma
The candidates who have passed International Baccalaureate Diploma after 10 years of schooling, with Mathematics as compulsory subject.
- OC candidates should have secured not less than 50% marks in aggregate in all the semestersput together.
- BC/ BCM, MBC & DNC, SC/SCA and ST candidates should have secured not less than 45% marks in aggregate in all the semesters put together.
If you’ve completed diploma, you can also apply but the required marks shoud met anna university standards .
