IBM presents Great Brain to Harvard.
Here the great brain refers to ASCC i.e. Automatic Sequence Controlled Calculator.
IBM president Thomas J.Watson Sr.formally presented th ASCC to Hardvard University.
One of earliest digital computer which is known as Harvard Mark I.


The Mark I was mixture of punch card and simple electronics and it was 51 feet long and weight is 5 tons!!!

World First Computer Chess tournament was conducted by Association of Computing Machinery(ACM)
