step 1: For nokia mobiles go to settings>connectivity>packet data>always online or when available.
Step2: go to messages>message settings>text message settings>use packet data> yes or preferred connnection-->click mobile data.
For other Mobiles
Use any browser and open any web
page, then minimize the browser and send sms.
this is 100% working trick only for airtel
