Password Protection to USB Drive without using Software.

[ol][li]Insert your USB drive to computer[/li][li]Click start and search for " Bitlocker Drive Encryption " and launch the application.[/li][/ol]

[ul][li]then click on the application and Then look for your USB drive and click on Turn on Bitlocker[/li][/ul]

[ul][li]and set for a new password[/li][/ul]

[ul][li]Now click on Start Encrypting[/li][/ul]

[ul][li]after then , wait until the usb get Encrypts[/li][/ul][attachment=3719]

[ul][li]now check on my computer, for ur usb drive..[/li][/ul][attachment=3720]

[ul][li]now see the Bitlocker Drive Encryption application [/li][/ul][attachment=3721]

that's all!!!!! now ur pen drive is protected by password..

now remove the USB pendrive and insert it again..
and the open my computer and open the USB drive, it asks for the password..
[attachment=3722]

Note : to disable this, u have to format the USB pendrive.
So we need Bitlocker Encryption software which is available by default in windows 7 & 8.
It cant be used in Xp...
ya it is an inbuilt application, it is for win 7 & 8
