A Health Alert From V+ Team...

Do you work in Stand alone computer for more than 20 Hours per week ?

Then you are the one having the high possibility of

"Carpal Tunnel Syndrome"

Strong Evidence Has been emerged , that if a person uses Keyboard and mouse for more than 20-30 Hours per week then he may be a victim of carpal tunnel syndrome.

What is carpal tunnel syndrome ?
carpal tunnel syndrome  is the tingling, pain, numbness and other problems which occurs in our hand due to the pressure of median nerve in our hand.

When does the median nerve get pressured ?
Our Median Nerve get pressured when we make the same hand movements over and over, especially if the wrist is bent down (your hands lower than your wrists), or making the same wrist movements over and over.

Stage 1: Due to the usage of same muscles again and again, Workplace Musculosketetal Disorders occurs leading to discomfortability in operating Mouse.

Stage 2 : We make exact movements with our fingers, hands and thumb. Time after time we are positioning the mouse, clicking it and scrolling with it and this can cause muscle fatigue.

Stage 3 : After Continual usage of computer for 2-3 months, you may experience aching and soreness as well as pain around your wrist and on the top of your hand. Your forearm and elbow may also be sore. This is due to the continuous stress on your hands and wrists.

Continual Usage results in stiffness in your neck and shoulder, muscle spasms, headaches and fatigue resulting in a condition called stretch weakness, which causes muscular imbalance.

Uncomfortable Keyboard usage too contributes to carpal tunnel syndrome, but its contribution is less compared to the contribution of mouse.

So use computer's mouse & Keyboard for 2 Hrs 45 Minutes a day reduces the possibility of affecting from this syndrome.
