MATLAB is a software package for high performance numerical computation, visualization, and programming.It provides an interactive environment with hundreds of built in function for technical computation, graphics and animations.This package is rich in toolboxes and hence finds application in image processing,signal processing, parellel computing, and neural networks, etc.The language has built-in math function that enables one to reach a solution faster than with spreadsheets or traditional programming languages such as c/c++ or Java.Upon the completion of course, the participants will gain the comprehensive understanding of MATLAB as a programming language as well as the use of MATLAB in image processing.
