Thank You very much @Srini  I will try to do the first one ie., not using any IC's...
i am not familiar with micro-controller programs (i have just started 4th sem )and will show both these to my professor and ask for his suggestions...
also kindly mention some innovative mini projects which i can try to do with my friends Smile Smile
