Scope of work
The main purpose of the grid connected system is to transfer electrical energy for grid with unity power factor. The simulation of grid tied inverter was done using MATLAB software. Simulation consists of four-part, simulation of solar PV Array, simulation of Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT), Simulation of DC-DC Boost Converter including MPPT, Simulation of solar grid tied inverter etc. Generally, Inverter consists of high frequency transformer, Low frequency transformer, and No transformer. When converting the DC to 120 or 240 V AC high frequency transformer use, which have multi step process used to convert the power of the high frequency and then back to the DC and the final AC output voltage. Transformers less inverter have lighter weight and which have highefficiency, which is most popular in Europe country. In market Grid tied inverter, include the MPPT which are placed in Input side and used for the extract the greatest amount of power from source to load. In solar panel and wind turbine uses MPPT.
