Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication to host the first Communication Summit 2017
Pune, 5th September 2017: Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communication (SIMC) is set to host a two-day Communication Summit at their Lavale Campus, which will commence on the 8th of September 2017. With the theme, ‘Stories from the Field’, the summit aims to enable interactions between industry stalwarts and the students, thereby helping them to understand the ground reality of the contemporary media scenario. Personal experience of tackling and resolving challenges during the course of their professional career.

Mr. Rajeev, an alumnus of SIMC Pune holds over three years of dynamic industry experience and has carved a niche in marketing and media management. Prior to his current role as Director, Branded Content at Mindshare, he has worked with Dolphin Adventure Sports and Zee Entertainment Enterprise.

Mr. Subramanyeswar S, Chief Strategic Officer, Lowe Lintas
Mr. Subramanyeswar leads the Strategic Planning function of Lowe Lintas in India. He has spent two decades in advertising and marketing and worked for big names like Wipro, Publics, Rediffusion Y&R, and Saatchi & Saatchi in the markets of India, US and UK.
Mr. Basant Rathore, Senior Vice President, Strategy, Business Development & Brand, Jagran Prakashan Ltd.
Before taking on his role as Sr VP, Strategic Planning, Business Development & Brand at Jagran Group, Mr. Basant has worked on the media planning side of the business at agencies such as Ogilvy, Mudra, Mindshare and Madison. He has planned and bought media for leading brands across diverse categories ranging from Chocolates to Automobiles.
Mr. Chandramouli Nilakantan, CEO, TRA Research & Comniscient Group
Mr. Chandramouli has been in the communication industry for over 12 years with most of the focus being on reputation and trust and its understanding, analysis and measurement. He is also the author of the books, Decoding Communication and The Brand Trust Reports. Adding another feather to his hat , he is the Managing Editor of the annual report on India's most attractive brands.
